What is Quilt Crinkle?

When your quilt is returned to you, it is crisp and flat. Once you add the binding, you may want to wash and dry the quilt before gifting or using it.

That first wash and dry create a textured and slightly wrinkled appearance caused by the different rates at which the fabric layers and batting shrink.

I love the cuddly look and feel of a crinkly quilt!
